Godfrey Davis suits Sewell

GODFREY Davis Contract Hire has won the contract to supply vehicles and manage Sewell Construction's 60-vehicle fleet. The Hull-based company previously purchased outright using outside funding, but under the new arrangements, Godfrey Davis will shoulder the financial risk as well as managing the fleet on a day-to-day basis.

Sewell group accountant David Leedham said: 'We were not efficient in the procurement and maintenance of vehicles. We looked at a number of contenders before deciding on Godfrey Davis, which won the business by being able to satisfy our specific requirements at a competitive cost.'
