Healthy deal for Toyota

LEICESTERSHIRE-based Ashfield Healthcare has signed a solus deal with Toyota for 'at least a year' with 100 Avensis models already supplied and a further 100 or more expected to be injected into the fleet by summer 2000. The Ashby de la Zouch company, one of the country's largest sales recruitment, training and salesforce resourcing agencies in the UK pharmaceutical industry, operates a 400-strong fleet.

Toyota fulfilled two one-off short notice agreements for the company before the contract went out to tender. Among the range-topping Avensis CDX models supplied was the 750,000th model to have been produced at Toyota UK's Burnaston plant, delivered by dealer Farmer & Carlisle.
