TEN Institute members received awards at the conference, with four leading fleet managers being elected to the institute's Fellowship. The Fellowship is the highest of four levels of membership within the organisation and newly elected fleet chiefs were: Dianne Rees (Leo Laboratories), Richard Flint (Strathclyde Police), Steven Palmer (Co-operative Wholesale Society) and Ron Dickson (Wallace Cameron & Co).

The quartet - Rees, Flint and Dickson are all Fleet News Award winners - were elected after passing the Institute's Diploma in Car Fleet Management and meeting additional criteria of: at least five years in the strategic management of car fleets, demonstrating personal achievement in car fleet management and contributing to the professionalism of the industry.

Meanwhile, new ICFM Associate members who have been awarded full membership after completing their Certificate in Car Fleet Management are: Sue Richardson (George S Hall), Andrew Yellop and John Wills (Prudential Services), Margaret Dalzell (Atlas Hydraulic Loaders), Alison Christie (Galileo International), Rachel Caterer (Network Automotive Management).
