EIGHT thousand fleet decision-makers are expected to attend Europe's largest fleet event - Fleet Show 2000 which opens on Tuesday (April 4) for three days at the NEC, Birmingham. Almost 8,000 fleet chiefs - last year's visitors and Fleet Gold Club members - have been sent tickets to the show and 7,500 have pre-registered to attend the event. In addition a further 800 people have registered via the new Exhibitor VIP hotline.

Those who have not registered for the event but want to attend can register at the show on the day. Fleet Show director Chris Lester said: 'With the Budget changes to company car tax and Vehicle Excise Duty, we expect many fleet managers to visit the show to discuss how exhibitors can help meet the demands the changes place on fleets. The Fleet Show Business Forums will also highlight many key industry issues and with a range of expert speakers we would expect many fleet managers to visit the show to take advantage of what is available. The show is a one-stop shop for all fleet requirements.'
