A NEW six-month dealer campaign sees the price of Nissan models slashed with cuts of at least 10% off Micra, Almera and Primera models for retail and small business users. Launched on Friday under the slogan 'New Nissan, New Prices' the new pricing campaign applies to all models within the Nissan line-up but the levels of discounts are at the discretion of dealers and not guaranteed.

Nissan says buyers will be able to obtain a minimum £800 off a Micra, £1,100 off an Almera and £1,400 off Primera. But it says recommended retail prices remain unchanged so company car drivers will not benefit from reduced benefit-in-kind tax bills.

Nissan Motor (GB) managing director Brian Carolin said: 'The Government has called for a 10% reduction in car prices - our dealers can offer significant savings.'

The new deal applies to sub-25 fleets and businesses who buy cars through the dealer network. Fleets which enjoy direct buying terms with Nissan are excluded.
