GWR Vehicle Hire, part of van rental company Northgate, is contributing £500 worth of equipment to Stratton Crosslink Football Club (previously called Raychem).

The idea came from GWR managing director Nick Baker following involvement by the company's fleet manager, Graham Lugger who is also Stratton Crosslink's assistant manager. Based at Cheney Manor, Swindon, GWR has already been rewarded with a string of nine straight wins by the team which is currently top of the Wiltshire League Premier Division.
