AA offers protection to used buyers

THE AA is targeting used car buyers with a new service offering a combined vehicle inspection and warranty.

Buyers are offered protection against component failure of up to £1,000 per claim through the three-month warranty and their potential purchases are given a full inspection before a deal is made.

Prices start at £260 for vehicles under 2.0 litres and rise to £330 for those over 2.0 litres, with discounts for AA members.

The AA Advanced Warranty Check offers a 'belt and braces' package, offering a car inspection and cover against mechanical breakdown, designed to protect the buyer from making the wrong purchase.
