THE AA's Accident Management service has adopted Glass's Information Services' computerised vehicle estimating system as standard across its 110-strong repairer network in an attempt to speed up and streamline its offering to fleets.

The Glassmatix III and Glassmatix.NET systems will be used by AA Accident Management to estimate damage costs and repair time. It includes digital imaging to help back up estimations with pictures.

Sarah Webb, head of AA Accident Management, said: 'It is an industry accepted method of sharing estimating and, more importantly, digital images.

'That means we can receive estimates in an agreed format supported by images to speed up the time it takes to vet and approve the estimate. Glassmatix systems provide a real-time example of the vehicle's current status via digital images.'
