BMW has broadened its 5-series range before the current car ceases production with Sport versions of the 520i and 525d. More than 80% of BMW 7-series owners are signing up to the Concours package which covers servicing and maintenance for five years or 75,000 miles for a one-off £500 payment. When the cars are sold any remaining time or mileage in the package is passed on, improving residual values.
The manual 520i Sport saloon is priced at £27,850 on-the-road, while the 525d version is £29,655. Automatic models cost £1,220 more, while Touring versions cost between £1,700 and £1,870 more than saloons.
Specifications are based on SE models but also include 'M' styling and equipment and matt aluminium interior trim.
