SKODA'S vehicle finance arm has announced its own contract hire rates for the new Superb upper-medium saloon. SkodaAuto Finance is offering contract hire rates on the Superb 2.0 Classic from £289.10 per month, rising to £326.47 for a package including service, maintenance and replacement tyres.

The 1.8T Classic is available at £340.65 without maintenance and £380.10 with maintenance, while the most expensive petrol model, the 2.8 V6 Elegance, costs £449.76 or £491.11.

The range-topping diesel – the 2.5 V6 TDI Elegance – is offered for £507.97 per month, or £548.84 with the service, maintenance and tyre package.

Jeff Knight, editor of CAP Monitor, said: 'We believe the Superb will be very attractive from the company car driver's perspective with a low P11D price and low CO2 emission levels keeping tax bills down.'
