THE incoming UK chief executive officer of ARVAL PHH has promised he will bring a 'fresh perspective' to the industry.

Outsourcing and technology specialist Phillippe Bismut joins from French media giant Canal Plus, where he headed up the firm's new media division.

Bismut said: 'The demands drivers make of employers are evolving and we must be able to anticipate their requirements if we are to offer businesses the management and financial solutions which they need for their fleets.'

Bismut added the British division has a key role to play in the development of the company. His appointment comes at the end of a year-long search for a replacement to David Bird.
