HOUSEBUILDING and commercial development company Redrow has adopted a new fleet software package for its 580-vehicle fleet.

It has chosen cfc's FleetPlus software system to replace a dedicated fleet and personnel system, which was written in-house.
The introduction of new human resources software led to some inefficiencies in the way the old fleet system worked.
Redrow systems analyst John Thomson said: 'As with all software replacement, external suppliers of fleet management systems were contacted and offered a chance to demonstrate their products.
'Simultaneously the option to develop a new product in-house was also reviewed.'
The company operates about 580 cars alongside 820 cabins, used as marketing suites, containers, water closets, canteens and drying rooms.
