SEAT launches a faster Toledo

SEAT has launched a high-performance diesel variant of its Toledo saloon (pictured), boasting 148bhp along with 50mpg potential.

The Toledo 1.9 TDi Sport is priced at £15,500 on-the- road, with standard equipment including traction control, electronic stability programme and emergency braking assistance, as well as 16-inch alloy wheels, electronic climate control, electric windows and a CD/radio.

Carbon dioxide emissions for the Sport are 146g/km, putting the car in the 18% benefit-in-kind tax band for the remainder of this financial year and 2004/05.
