Hertz signs Icelandic rental deal

HERTZ has signed a new long-term agreement with its Iceland-based franchisee, Icelandair Car Rental.

The franchisee, a division of the airline Icelandair, has worked with Hertz for more than 20 years, in which time it has seen its car rental business triple in size.

Hertz Europe's director of franchise operations Neville Cheetham said: 'This new agreement with Icelandair Car Rental cements our relationship with the franchisee and reflects the confidence we have in it being able to provide a high quality car rental service for our customers visiting Iceland.'
