Bargain Beetle VOLKSWAGEN has introduced a new entry-level Beetle with a new 1.4-litre petrol engine, priced at £11,295 on-the-road.

A Cabriolet model is also available at £14,175. Carbon dioxide emissions are 170g/km for the hatchback and 173g/km for the Cabriolet. Standard equipment includes ABS brakes, twin front and side airbags, electronic stability programme, remote central locking with alarm and 16-inch alloy wheels. Volkswagen has also launched a 1.9-litre TDI PD diesel Cabriolet, priced at £17,575 on-the-road.
