TOYOTA is providing staff dedicated to fleet customers at each of its 90 new business centres.

The Toyota Business Centres, located at dealerships around the country, pledge to provide a fast-track service for fleet operators with a focus on commercial vehicles and smaller fleets.

Peter Howarth, business centre manager and CV manager at Toyota, said: 'We have recruited steadily to ensure the right balance of car and CV knowledge from our business centre staff. Each centre is working hard to build stronger 'local' business links.'

Now fully operational, the centres offer fleets a minimum of three commercial vehicle (CV) demonstrators in addition to car demonstrators. Each centre will also have an out-of-hours contact facility, office support and access to a local business database.

Jon Pollock, general manager of Toyota Fleet said: 'Toyota Fleet also offers a call centre facility to support the business centres. Our customers get a service that is hassle-free and easy. The emphasis now is looking at enhancing awareness of Toyota Business Centre services in local areas and further training to include a more specific LCV course.'
