• AMBA Mistry has been appointed Autoglass' new business manager. She brings a wealth of sales and marketing experience having worked for David Lloyd Leisure as sales and marketing manager and, prior to that, for 3M in the automotive aftermarket division.

  • CARL Hill has been appointed centre contact manager for AA Tyre Fit, taking responsibility for its Coventry call centre. He has worked for Centrica, owners of the AA, for 29 years. Before that he set up and managed call centres for British Gas and AA Service Centres.

  • BEN, the motor and allied trades' benevolent fund, has confirmed the appointment of Gerard Barclay as chief executive to its board of trustees. He joins BEN on October 1 prior to taking full executive responsibility when Geoffrey Atkinson retires on January 1, 2004. Barclay is currently business development director with Walon UK and has been with them since 1991. Prior to that he held positions with Fiat and two large dealer groups.

  • KWIK-FIT Fleet has expanded its team of corporate account managers. Mark Lane joins the company for the second time, having left in 2000 when he was national sales manager. He returns from MG Rover Group, where he was corporate develop-ment manager.
