Toyota gets to hub of telematics

TOYOTA France has chosen Webraska Mobile Technologies to power the navigation system in its telematics product. Called the Toyota Hub, it is launched this month and cars will come equipped with a personal digital assistant (PDA), featuring mobile phone, digital camera and GPS navigation. Stéphane Boyer, director, customer services Toyota France, said: 'Telematics services are in line with our marketing strategy. Telematics services, such as those developed in partnership with Webraska, help to meet our customers' needs in terms of emergency or after-sales services and increase brand loyalty.'
