Production down

UK car production for October slowed according to data from the Office for National Statistics.

New car production in the first 10 months of 2004 was down 1% while output in October fell 11.9%. However, despite the drop, the UK is on a par with last year, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.
