THIS is the new corporate 'face' of Audi, unveiled this week as the new A6 made its debut.

The A6 (pictured) will be seen in public for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show, with a range of new petrol and diesel engines and sports Audi's new radiator grille which plunges deep beneath the front bumper. Diesel engines include the 140bhp 2.0 TDI pumpe duse engine used in the new Audi A3, as well as the 225bhp 3.0-litre common rail diesel found in the A8, the latter promising 332lb-ft of torque from 1,400rpm and permanent four-wheel drive.

The 2.4-litre V6 petrol engine has been upgraded to 177bhp, while a new 255bhp 3.2-litre FSI petrol engine is also available, along with a 335bhp 4.2-litre V8.

Six-speed manual, six-speed Tiptronic auto and a Multitronic continuously variable transmission are available, with standard features including automatic headlights and rain-sensing windscreen wipers, electro-mechanical parking brake and automatic air conditioning.
