ALLIANCE & Leicester has awarded the management of its employee car ownership scheme for 700 vehicles to leasing company Zenith Vehicle Contracts.

The supplier will also provide fleet management services and handle the disposal of the Alliance & Leicester Commercial Finance contract hire fleet. It announced last year it was winding up its fleet management contract hire division (Fleet NewsNet, July 31 2003).
Zenith sales and marketing director Philip Jerome said: 'Our experience in ECO means we provide an efficient, reliable service. The additional units from the contract hire fleet will increase the number of vehicles under management to about 15,000.'
