Avensis deal

A DAVENTRY-based machinery supplier is replacing its multi-marque fleet with Toyota Avensis diesels in a bid to improve economy across the fleet.

Biesse Group has taken delivery of nine Avensis T2s and two Avensis D-4D Tourers to be used by key account and project managers.

Max Manina, managing director at Biesse, said: 'We had a collection of Rovers, Fords and Vauxhalls before and wanted everybody to have the same make of car. We chose the Toyotas because they are very sturdy and safe.'

Grosvenor Contracts is supplying the vehicles on a three-year/130,000 mile contract.
