Glass’s sale denial

GLASS’S Guide, which publishes used car price data, has denied reports that it is up for sale.

Reports in the Sunday newspapers claimed that Lion Capital, which owns Glass’s parent company Eurotax Glass’s, was looking to sell the car guide business for up to £340 million.

However, Glass’s said it had heard nothing of this plan. A spokesman said: ‘We have always said that the business would be up for sale for the right price, but at the moment nothing is imminent.’
