MARTYN Moore (pictured), editor-in-chief of Practical Classics magazine and former editor of Classic Cars, Max Power and Bike, has been named as the new editor of Fleet News.

He joins the team on January 16. Moore has also edited Practical Photography, Photo Answers and Internet magazine.

He was the Periodical Training Council’s Trainee Journalist of the Year in 1989, the British Society of Magazine Editors Editor of the Year in 1992 and Emap Automotive Editor of the Year in 2004.

His journalism career started 24 years ago at the Yorkshire Evening Press.
