Bosses get in a lather for charity

SENIOR managers turned car valets today to raise money for Red Nose Day at Manchester-based GE Commercial Finance, Fleet Services.

Managing director Rich Green and other members of the Sale company's leadership team picked up chamois leathers, buckets, car wax and Hoovers to clean staff cars for charity.

Other Red Nose Day events at GE Commercial Finance, Fleet Services included a fancy dress and outrageous hair competition, sales of special Red Nose Day cakes and other refreshments, a football competition, and duck fishing in the pond in the company's grounds.

Green said: 'As a company, we frequently get involved in charitable work and Red Nose Day is an ideal opportunity to have as much fun as possible while raising money for worthwhile causes. Everybody involved at the company gave generously and I'd like to say thanks to all who got involved.'
