SAAB is offering wind-in-the-hair motoring allied to fuel economy of more than 44mpg with its new 9-3 Convertible diesel.

On sale later next month, the 9-3 soft-top is available with the 150bhp version of the 1.9-litre TiD turbodiesel and in Linear and Vector trim levels with the choice of manual or automatic transmission. It offers combined fuel economy of 44.8mpg and CO2 emissions of 169g/km. Prices range from £25,370 to £27,664.
