VOLVO’S striking new C70 coupe-convertible will come with a free three-year/60,000-mile service plan for fleet customers.

The package covers all parts and labour for scheduled services over the period, although wear and tear items such as brake pads, bulbs, wipers and tyres are not included.

The move is designed to ensure the new C70 appeals to user-chooser buyers, who are expected to account for up to half of all sales of the new model.

John Wallace, Volvo’s leasing and rental manager, said: ‘The service pack ensures cars have a full service history and are fully maintained to the highest standards, which means fleet and leasing companies will enjoy healthier residual values. ‘The pack is also transferable to subsequent owners and mileage information is available to fleet managers so they can track the car through its operating period.’
