Pricewatch: Land Rover Freelander 2 v BMW X3

LAND Rover is attempting to push the Freelander upmarket with this, the second version, and this means that more than ever before it is going to have to compete with the BMW X3 – the accepted benchmark for a premium small SUV.

That means the Freelander 2 needs better interior quality, improved reliability and stronger RVs.

And in percentage terms, CAP reckons the new model will be 10 points higher than the old one, although it is still only just sneaking into X3 territory at 41% for this SE version.
