You changed jobs almost three months ago – how have you adjusted?

In my previous role as operations manager at Renault Business Finance I was responsible for everything to do with the contract, from the initial quote to defleet. The main difference as head of vehicle remarketing is that I am actively involved in residual value setting and have overall responsibility for maximising our disposal profits on 25,000 vehicles per year.

When was the last time you laughed out loud at work?

Last Friday and virtually every day. When you spend over a third of your life at work it is important to have some fun in the process. I set my team the challenge of making me laugh at least once a day, and so far they haven’t let me down, although most of the contributions are unsuitable for publication. At the end of the month I share them with the department and the funniest receives a bottle of bubbly.

What was the first conversation you had at work today?

I think it went along the lines of ‘a tall skinny cappuccino please’.
