ROAD safety charity Brake is urging fleets to spread the message of this year’s Road Safety Week.

The theme is young drivers as research shows traffic is the biggest killer of 15-25 year olds in Britain and Brake wants fleets, especially those with drivers under the age of 25, to promote the message.

The charity is offering a free action pack including tips for fleet managers on reducing the risks young drivers face, a poster and ways to become more involved.

Other ways fleets can raise awareness of the event to their drivers include free training from the FedEx & Brake Road Safety Academy, emailing them safety bulletins, sponsoring a Road Safety Week banner or ordering free posters and leaflets on safe driving. It runs from November 6-12.
