What has been the high-light of your job so far?

Successfully installing a system between DaimlerChrysler Fleet Management (DCFM) and our rental supplier so our invoicing is now entirely automated.

How does it compare with your previous role?

The daily rental department moves at a much faster pace, with actions and decisions required on an hourly rather than a daily basis.

How long have you been in the industry?

I have worked in the motor industry for eight years. I worked for a motor manufacturer before joining DCFM five years ago.

Any amusing stories from your career?

We recently sourced seven MINI convertibles for a treasure hunt as part of a client’s team-building exercise for its LPG tanker delivery drivers. It made us smile to think of their drivers, used to handling huge vehicles, driving little MINIs around the countryside searching for clues.

What advice would you give to someone considering this career?

Good organisational skills and the ability to follow up to get results are important.
