What are the highs and lows of driver training?
The highs are when I’m involved in developing a road safety initiative which has a positive effect on society. What is your favourite part of your job?
The variety of work that involves liaising with people who are concerned with road safety, particularly risk management and driver training. What is a common mistake made by drivers?
It would definitely be exceeding the speed limit. How did you get into a career as a driver trainer?
I always enjoyed and did well on my driving courses when I was in the police force. This then led me into driver training. What would you say has been your best career move to date?
I have been fortunate that throughout my working life I have always enjoyed whatever role I am undertaking at the time.

The lows are when I read in the news about a road incident which could have been avoided if correct guidelines had been followed.
