DJ goes telematic

LIVERPOOL-based building maintenance company DJ Taylor Contracts has fitted telematics systems to its fleet of 10 vans.

The company is using a vehicle tracking system supplied by RAM Remote Asset Management Limited.

The company said the move has cut fuel costs by 20%. Managing director Dave Taylor said: ‘Our workforce is highly motivated and less stressed as we can now assign the closest engineer to attend ad-hoc and urgent jobs.’
