CASE studies and practical advice on fleet risk management will be at the heart of the Fleet News Risk in Fleet Conference when it takes place on May 15.

Speakers already signed up for the event include Fleet News Award-winning fleet manager Nick Purkis, of Pickfords, who will be providing practical advice on keeping drivers under control.

Tracey Young, fleet manager for Arval, will be casting her expert eye over what makes a perfect fleet policy, while Tim Shallcross, head of technical policy at the IAM Motoring Trust, will provide a detailed overview of legislation affecting fleet operators.

Other subjects will include how to get management to listen and a look at the role of lawyers in modern fleet management.

This packed agenda will also include a look at financial risk, with HM Revenue & Customs policy advisor Elizabeth Ward providing a detailed overview of how the budget has affected fleets.
