Delegates at the conference, to be held at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, will be briefed by Thatcham crash research manager Matthew Avery on how to improve driver safety as well as balance the fleet budget.
Only last week, Thatcham announced exclusive research showing that more than half of drivers are making themselves vulnerable to whiplash injuries by not setting their head restraints in the correct position.
Studies carried out by insurance research centre Thatcham found the problem could be causing injuries to more than 125,000 drivers and passengers in the UK every year.
Ten speakers have now been confirmed for the conference to cover a range of subjects, including writing fleet safety policies, managing drivers, dealing with drivers using private cars on business and getting management to listen.
In addition, there will be a full briefing on the impact of Gordon Brown’s budget speech.
