Describe your fleet
Seven large commercial vehicles, 26 owned vans and pick-ups, and 46 hired vans, pick-ups and minibuses.

What are you working on at the moment?
A weekly report to give to all our sites, telling them of the locations of the cheapest fuel in their area at that current time. Due to our coverage of the UK, we currently use diesel cards rather than have our own bulk tanks.

How did you get into the fleet industry?
While working on a customer service desk, I was given the opportunity to move into the transport department as a load planner and progressed from there.

Would you recommend a career in fleet?
I would highly recommend it to anybody who enjoys a challenge. Every day has its different problems and sorting these out gives you a sense of achievement.

What would make your life easier at work?
I wouldn’t want it easier. If it’s not a challenge it’s not worth doing.

What is your favourite holiday destination?
Anywhere with snow. My wife and I love skiing and the compulsory après ski.
