Manufacturers have revealed a raft of announcements relating to their latest offers to the market.

Vauxhall’s latest addition to the Zafira line-up is a 1.7-litre advanced diesel engine with emissions of just 139g/km.

The Ecoflex is the first Zafira to enter Band C for Vehicle Excise Duty – costing just £120 per year – while its BIK tax for company car drivers drops four levels to 18% – the lowest taxation class for a seven-seater.

From April 10, Vauxhall will add the Sports Tourer model to its Insignia line-up, while its electric offering the Ampera will be available from 2012.

Volvo has updated the driving dynamics and ride of the new S80 with the introduction of two new chassis – the lowered dynamic chassis and the comfort chassis.
