International Motors (IM), the UK importer of Subaru, Isuzu and Daihatsu vehicles, is implementing a management restructure to save money.

Paul Tunnicliffe, previously managing director of Daihatsu, will be running all three brands.

“In this uncertain business climate, it is vitally important that we take every opportunity to review our spending levels and reduce costs,” said Tunnicliffe.

“This new structure will unfortunately result in some redundancies but at the same time provide us with an opportunity to streamline our operations.”

A spokesman said the firm was restructuring aspects of its fleet sales operations, although he could not confirm any details.
