The drive to install new MOT test bays by 20% is part of a strategic move by ATS Euromaster to offer additional service, maintenance and repair (SMR) facilities for both the fleet sector and private motorists.

Huw Williams, group marketing director at ATS Euromaster, explains: “Expanding our MOT coverage is a natural step forward for the business. The increase in the number of company vehicles being kept beyond three years means many more businesses are now requiring MOTs for their fleet.

“Fleet managers are under increasing pressure to trim running costs, and by ramping up our SMR offering, we can help them to meet that challenge head-on,” he adds.

The growth in MOT availability follows a significant investment this year introducing Bosch diagnostic equipment across the ATS Euromaster network.
