The Ford S-Max has been named Best MPV at the 2010 Fleet News Awards.
Ford’s success with the S-MAX continues, with its popularity among drivers rooted in its ability to carry seven while feeling like one of the company’s sharp-handling hatchbacks from behind the wheel.
The S-Max shares its upmarket feel with the latest generation of large Ford models and as well as the headline-grabbing 200bhp turbo model there is also a range of desirable diesel versions below 160g/km.
With stronger residual values than many other seven seaters, the S-Max has the rare ability to appeal to both the heart and the head.
Judges’ comments
Good design, practical, high quality, flexible and driver appeal ensure the S-Max retains its MPV crown. This car will appeal to both finance and HR led fleets. It allows people to choose a people carrier without feeling like they are driving a big car.
