E-Training World launch online driver risk portal

E-Training World has launched a new online driver risk portal to help companies combine the management of their Grey Fleet and Company Fleet.

The system was developed after feedback from many businesses that they did not always know which drivers were using their own cars for work related journeys. They therefore needed a way of identifying these drivers, risk assessing and training them all in one simple process without needing to find out who they were beforehand.

The new system allows managers to log, register themselves as someone who has staff using their own car or company vehicle for business use and nominate them for assessment and training.

"Its a truly remarkable solution for grey fleets", said Graham Hurdle, managing director at E-Training World, "because all companies have to do is make a generic announcement to the business that if you are a manager with staff driving on company business you must log into the system.

"This removes all of the headaches of trying to pre-identify drivers, making the process quick, simple and easy to implement. And as the system builds it creates a natural business hierarchy, which means, ultimately, senior Directors can log in and view every department and driver cascading below them from the top level."
