Thrifty adds 6,000 new vehicles to car and van fleet

Thrifty Car and Van Rental is introducing 6,000 brand new vehicles to its rental fleet, including 800 vans.

In anticipation of demand through the winter months, Thrifty has also increased its planned 4x4 vehicle numbers by 20% and its 4x4 pickup trucks by 25%.

Grant Capel, fleet director at Thrifty Car and Van Rental, said: “Keeping up-to-speed with changing customer requirements is essential no matter what business you are in. As such, we regularly update our fleet and can quickly react to changing customer demands, whether that is 4x4s for the winter months, or to cater for the increasing demand for LCV’s.

“Although we are in tough economic times, customers still expect excellent service and high quality, reliable vehicles. This extension to our fleet ensures that we can keep giving our customers access to state-of-the-art models and technology from a broad range of manufacturers.”

Thrifty Car and Van Rental operates nationwide and currently has 85 branches within the UK.
