Seat’s head of fleet and business sales, Nick Andrews, has further strengthened his team by adding both a new key account manager and a dedicated fleet aftersales manager.

Former Audi area fleet sales manager Sam Ragheb, 36, joins the successful SEAT fleet sales team as key account manager.

Andrews explained: “Sam has developed a wealth of fleet sales experience within Audi over the past five years but also brings with him extensive B2B sales experience having previously worked in the ‘fast moving consumer goods’ (FMCG) industry for the likes of Mars UK and Walkers Foods.”

“Add to this a degree in economics and it’s clear why Sam was an obvious choice for SEAT UK.”

Meanwhile Perry Clarke, 49, a five-year veteran of SEAT fleet sales, moves into another newly-created pivotal role in the Brand by taking on the job of dedicated fleet aftersales manager.

Andrews explained: “Perry is a well-known and highly-respected member of our team, and I’m particularly happy that he has agreed to pioneer this crucially-important new role for the business.”

He added: “Improving the experience for our fleet and business customers – and improving customer loyalty as a result – is a vital part of our plan to grow both our volume and our market share, and Perry’s expertise will support that.”

SEAT’s fleet sales operation – which has gone from strength to strength in the last two years under the leadership of Andrews and national fleet sales manager Sally Livingstone – is keeping pace with the Brand’s growing overall market share.

Fleet sales year to date to the end of February, 2011, stand at 1,786 cars which equates to a 1.6% market share (Source: SMMT) while SEAT’s overall market share continues to run at a record 1.7%.

The addition of a raft of blue chip plc clients to SEAT’s burgeoning fleet portfolio including household names such as Barclays, Centrica and Bayer underlines the strides being made.

Nick added: ‘People are at the heart of our strategy for growth and therefore it’s great that I can announce these important improvements to our team.’
