Cobra to supply aftermarket Bluetooth to Renault

Cobra will supply Renault UK with Bluetooth hands-free equipment.

Compatible with all makes and models of Bluetooth-enabled phones; the NSV system is said the appearance of an Original Equipment (OE) installation.

The systems which will be available as a Renault approved accessory across the complete range of Renault cars and light commercials.

Audio is streamed through the vehicle speakers, making the Bluetooth system an integral part of the vehicle. Drivers can also play their iPod through the system.

"The reputation of the NSV Bluetooth Handsfree System speaks for itself. It is a high quality product that looks and performs just like an Original Equipment system," said Andrew Smith, Cobra UK’s managing director.

"We chose Cobra for the simple reason that its NSV Bluetooth Handsfree Systems offers our corporate and private customers a host of benefits. In addition, the product has the functionality of an integrated offering and is versatile enough to fit seamlessly across our range of vehicles," said Robert Smith, accessories marketing manager, Renault UK.

Cobra is already a major partner to Renault, supplying the manufacturer with parking sensors and vehicle alarm systems for line fitment.
