Skoda launches high value equipment grade

Škoda has launched a new equipment grade across its range of cars offering extra equipment at reduced cost.

SE Plus site between SE and Elegance and is available on Fabia, Roomster, Yeti, Octavia and Superb models.

Chris Horrell, Škoda UK product marketing manager, said: "SE Plus offers lots of extra equipment beyond SE trim at a considerably reduced cost to the customer.

"We’ve tailored the offering on each model to reflect the features that are most desirable. SE Plus isn’t a special edition, but a completely new trim level that will run until the end of each vehicle’s life-cycle.”

"Features such as Bluetooth, a multi-function steering wheel and Škoda’s Amundsen touch-screen sat-nav system on the Octavia, Superb and Yeti will boost the appeal of SE Plus for both retail and corporate buyers."

The Octavia SE Plus adds 16-inch Proxima alloy wheels, unique Kristal upholstery, rear parking sensors, Isofix front passenger seat, Amundsen touch-screen satellite navigation system, Bluetooth telephone connectivity, multi-function steering wheel and media device interface (MDI) with connecting cable. The premium over se is £960 but the value of the extra equipment is £2,270.

The Superb SE Plus include Amundsen touch-screen satellite navigation system, Bluetooth telephone connectivity, multi-function steering wheel, sunset privacy glass and MDI with connecting cable for an extra £1,210 over the SE but at a customer saving of £1,275 compared with including the equipment as options.

The Yeti SE Plus adds Kristal upholstery, Amundsen touch-screen satellite navigation system, CD autochanger, Bluetooth telephone connectivity, multi-function steering wheel, electric driver and passenger seats, rear passenger folding tables on back of front seats for an extra £700 over the SE.

The Fabia SE Plus includes Kristal upholstery, sunset privacy glass, climate control, multi-function steering wheel, electric rear windows, storage boxes under the front seats, protective black side mouldings and MDI with connecting cable for £590 more than the SE.

The Roomster SE Plus has 15-inch Antares alloy wheels, Kristal upholstery, roof rails, climate control, multi-function steering wheel and MDI with connecting cable for a premium of £530 over SE.

    My Amundsen Sat Nav. is OK but it does not allow me to insert a UK post code, rather you have to insert the address. It would be most helpful if one could use the Post Code instead. Is this possible?
