Skoda has revived the Favorit nameplate for a new electric concept car that is heavily influenced by the historic model.
While the brand claims it has no intention to produce the small car, the concept hints at a possible retro-styled theme for upcoming Skodas.
The strategy has been adopted by Renault, successfully, with the new 4 and 5 drawing a lot of attention thanks to their classic styling. Other manufacturers have since jumped on the bandwagon, including Fiat with the new Grande Panda.
Skoda will launch a compact electric model later this year, called the Epiq. It's based on the new VW MEB Small platform, shared with the VW ID 2 and Cupra Raval. The Epiq has a more modern look and adopts a compact SUV bodystyle.
