Imperial Automotive has announced that its BodyRepairQuote.com website has now produced over 20,000 retail leads for its repairers so far this year.

The system works by giving customers the chance to identify the cosmetic damage to their vehicle online. The nearest repairer is then sent details of the damage and is able to contact the customer offering them a repair estimate. The website now has 160 repairers signed up to the service where they are given solus areas.

Kevin Shipton, managing director of Imperial Automotive, said: “The concept of BodyRepairQuote.com is to develop a partnership between us and our customers.

“We provide retail repair leads and in return the repairer buys parts from us. In the beginning we were charging each repairer £50 a month to help support the cost of developing the website in return for the leads in their area, but over the last few months we have developed a ‘target purchasing’ approach. Each repairer has been set a monthly sales threshold and if they hit that target they get their leads for free.”
