Thrifty Car and Van Rental is supplying rental vehicles to more than 50% of UK police forces.

Whether a vehicle is required for general use or for sensitive operations, Thrifty has a dedicated reservation team equipped to meet all their rental requirements

Sam Sloan, head of Chiltern transport consortium, said: “As head of Chiltern Transport Consortium - a fleet service provider to four police forces - it is vital that I have the right suppliers in place to ensure our service delivery and the forces operational requirements are not compromised.

“Thrifty successfully came through an arduous OJEU Tender exercise and became our main supplier for daily rental vehicles in April 2010, since then they have consistently met our demanding requirements, provided value for money and have proved to be a reliable and conscientious business partner.”

Heidi Bond, national account manager, Thrifty, said: “Our bespoke offering and quality of service are key to developing and strengthening our relationship with the UK police forces and we are delighted to have the continuing opportunities to do so.”

Thrifty Car and Van Rental operates nationwide and currently has 90 branches within the UK.
