Zenith’s in-house accident management team has processed its 100,000th claim.  Accident management has been provided in-house by Zenith for 18 years and is part of the delivery of its ‘end to end’ vehicle management solutions.

The team was set up in 1994 to manage a fleet of 250 vehicles.  It now provides a full accident management service for 32,000 vehicles as a stand alone, outsourced solution or within a fleet management package.

Zenith manages all aspects of the process, from handling claims and Uninsured Loss Recovery, to arranging cost effective repairs and producing detailed management reports.

Zenith’s head of accident management, Richard Auty comments:  “When this service first started we had just one employee handling claims for 250 cars.  Now the team has grown to 21 employees managing 32,000 cars and commercial vehicles. The provision of an in-house accident management service at this level is just one of the many factors that set us apart from our competitors.  As part of an ongoing programme of product development and new product launches, we will soon be launching a new in-house built Accident Management system.  This will further enhance the services that we are able to provide to our customers and drivers.”
