Climatecars introduces the first Mercedes-Benz E300 Bluetec hybrid

Climatecars, the London based green car service, has become the first British car fleet to run the Mercedes-Benz E300 Bluetec hybrid.

The E300 Bluetec hybrid is Climatecars’ new executive option for its customers who wish to travel in style, while still reducing their carbon footprint.

Climatecars will be offering their new executive service at competitive prices but without charging a premium. Central London to Heathrow, for example, will be approximately £75, making Climatecars premium service about the same cost as taking a black taxi.

Nicko Williamson, founder and managing director of Climatecars, said: "Climatecars is delighted to be the first in the UK to run the Mercedes-Benz E300 Bluetec Hybrid vehicles. Our clients have expressed a desire for premium vehicles and now finally we have a luxury hybrid in the E-Class to offer them as an alternative to our standard hybrid. Climatecars is about offering a green alternative with superior service and at no extra cost, so the E300 Bluetec Hybrid fits our mould perfectly.”
